The Chinese smartphone maker Realme has launched its new budget smartphone Realme C35 in India, but it has some disappointing features such as a chipset and camera setup.
There are so many good smartphones under Rs 12000 available in India that have good processors like Qualcomm and MediaTek but the Realme C35 comes with a Unisoc T616 chipset which is mostly used in entry-level smartphones.

Realme C35 specification and features
Looks and Display
The Realme C35 comes with 6.6 inches 1080 x 2408 pixels Full HD+ display with a waterdrop style notch for the front camera. The Display of the smartphone has a 90% screen-to-body ratio.
Talking about the looks the Realme C35 looks somewhat similar to iPhone 12 because of the flat side edges and identical camera design. Overall it looks great in terms of looks and design.
It is available in Gloving Black and Glowing Green color.
Chipset and storage
The Realme C35 comes with Unisoc Tiger T616 12 nm Octa-core processor along with Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 11 based Realme UI.
In terms of storage, it comes with multiple storages and RAM options such as 64GB with 4GB RAM, 64GB with 6GB RAM, and 128GB with 4GB RAM. It comes with dedicated Micro SD slot as well.
The Realme C35 comes with a triple camera setup at rear 50+2.0+0.3 MP in which 50 MP is a wide sensor, 2 MP is a macro sensor and 0.3 MP is for Depth. It seems that the company has given this only for marketing and name, generally, it is not of any special use.
For a selfie, it has an 8 MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Realme C35 comes with a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery and 18W fast charging.
There are so many other good smartphones available in the segment which has better chipset and camera features. It would be great if it would be priced below Rs 10000/- because the current price does not justify the amount features it has.
