Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has opened up about when he first started dating pop superstar Taylor Swift. In an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show“, Kelce revealed that their romance began about a month before Swift attended her first Chiefs game on September 24, 2023.
Kelce explained that he had already been talking to Swift for weeks when he publicly invited her to the September 24 game against the Chicago Bears. So while it looked spontaneous, Kelce actually knew Swift would be attending.
“It wasn’t just an out-of-the-blue, ‘Hey, come to the game,'” Kelce told McAfee. “We had known each other for close to a month up to that point.”
Since then, Swift has become a fixture at Chiefs games, attending 12 of Kelce’s matches to cheer him on. Kelce said he loves having Swift’s support in the stands with his family and friends.
“It’s been nothing but a wonderful year, man,” Kelce remarked. “You know, it’s been a crazy, crazy ride that I could have never anticipated. But I’m having fun with it.”
Kelce initiated contact back in July 2023 when he mentioned wanting to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his number on it at her Kansas City concert. Kelce said he was “a little butthurt” and he couldn’t give it to her directly since Swift doesn’t do meet and greets to preserve her voice.
Their relationship continues to capture the public’s attention, with Swift set to attend the upcoming Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11, as reported by NewsFrom360.
