Krafton blocks Royale Pass purchase in BGMI

Users of BGMI are unable to purchase in-game cash to upgrade the Royale Pass due to the app's ban.

Recall that the Indian government banned BGMI in July due to worries about data security and privacy.

Authorities have doubts that the India version of PUBG Mobile transmits sensitive user data to servers abroad.

However, Krafton claims that Singapore and India are the only countries where BGMI's servers are located.

An error message reading "purchase failed, item not found, Please try later" is displayed to users when they attempt to buy the UC.

Krafton is trying to connect with the Indian authorities to unban the game.

Regarding the royale pass and the South Korean company's update on the ban, no official statement has been made.

How long the ban on BGMI will last is also unknown.

Players who already have the required amount of UC cannot purchase the Royale Pass

Because doing so would be unfair to those who had not yet gathered sufficient UC before the BGMI ban.

As per some reports, after arguing its case to the authorities, Krafton believes that BGMI will soon be revived in India.
