2024 Kawasaki Eliminator 400: Kawasaki recently unveiled the 2024 iteration of the Eliminator 400 cruiser motorcycle in Japan. The new Eliminator 400 sees some exciting upgrades while retaining its iconic retro-inspired styling.

New Color Options for 2024 Eliminator 400

The 2024 Eliminator 400 will be available in three variants in Japan – the standard Eliminator 400, the Eliminator 400 SE, and the Eliminator 400 Plaza Edition. Kawasaki has introduced new color options to give the cruiser a more modern flair.

The Plaza Edition can be had in two new colors – Pearl Sand Khaki or Pearl Storm Grey. The standard Eliminator 400 is only offered in a single black paint scheme. The Eliminator 400 SE gets two two-tone color options – Phantom Blue with Ebony and Metallic Flat Spark Black with Metallic Matte Dark Green.

The SE variant also receives an updated headlight cowl design for enhanced aesthetics. The new colorways definitely make the Eliminator 400 appear more contemporary and stylish.

Enhanced Features for 2024

The Eliminator 400 SE and Plaza versions also come equipped with some additional features over the standard model. These include USB ports for charging mobile devices and a new dual camera system compatible with GPS – one camera in the front and one at the rear.

The cameras add more practicality and technology to the classic cruiser. The USB ports also increase convenience for riders to charge smartphones and other gadgets on the go.

Retains Same 398cc Parallel-Twin Engine

Kawasaki has retained the same 398cc parallel-twin engine on the 2024 Eliminator 400. This engine produces 48PS at 10,000rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission and power is sent to the rear wheel via a chain final drive.

The steel trellis frame offers the rigidity needed for comfortable cruising abilities. Telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers handle suspension duties. Braking is through a 310mm disc in the front and a 240mm rear disc.

Launch Timeline for Japan and Other Markets

Kawasaki will launch the 2024 Eliminator 400 lineup in Japan this March. Other international markets are expected to receive the new models soon after the Japan launch.

With stylish new color options and added features, the 2024 Eliminator 400 looks to build upon the retro appeal of its predecessor. Kawasaki has refined the proven formula further to attract more cruiser fans globally.
