Bugatti Tourbillon: French car company Bugatti is known worldwide for its powerful and fast cars. Now the company has expanded its portfolio and launched a new car Bugatti Tourbillon. Equipped with attractive looks and a powerful engine, this car is very special in many ways. Many such features have been given in this car which make it unique.

First of all, let’s talk about the name of the car, ‘Tourbillon’ is inspired by the mechanism of the world of watches. Such watches are transparent and the mechanism or rotating machines inside them can be seen easily. Let’s say, this is a kind of term that is used for any such rotating mechanism.

Why Such Name Used for this Car:

With this new car, Bugatti has put an end to an old tradition in which the company used to name cars after racers. Instead, the car has been named according to its actual character. In fact, the company has used some such components in this car as well which shows its rotation from outside.

The company has provided a special type of steering wheel for this car. The speedometer is installed on this steering wheel. Although the steering wheel rotates during driving, the speedometer remains fixed. This makes the cabin of this car look even cooler. To a large extent, it reminds us of such watches as we have told you above.

Bugatti Tourbillon Car Features

This is the most unique car ever introduced by Bugatti. Instead of the W16 engine given in any other Bugatti car, it has an 8.3-liter capacity naturally aspirated V16 engine which comes with a power of 1,000 horsepower.

Apart from this, this engine has also been connected to three different electric motors. In which two motors have been installed in the front and one motor in the rear. These electric motors generate an additional power of 800HP. The weight of its engine itself is 256 kg.

Bird Inspired Design:

The design of a machine that runs at a speed of 400 km per hour should not only be sharp but it also needs to take special care of aerodynamics. Inspired by the Falcon species of bird, the design of this car is very spectacular.

From the roof of the car to the under-body line, it has been designed in such a way that it moves forward cutting through the air at high speed. The company calls it the Master of the Air. Its monocoque is made of aerospace-grade carbon composite.

Bugatti Tourbillon Body Structure:

The Tourbillon is designed around a completely new chassis and body structure. This structure is made of next-generation T800 carbon composite, which uses several techniques that help reduce weight.

Such as integrating the battery as a structural part of the monocoque and a unique crash composite rear diffusor inspired by top-level motorsport. The structure of the front composite air duct that flows from the front of the car is also quite different.

The front and rear frames are made from low-pressure thin-walled aluminum castings and 3D-printed structural braces. The company says that it is lighter and stronger than the previous model.

Bugatti Tourbillon Performance Figures:

  • 0-100 km/h: 2.0 seconds

Bugatti Tourbillon Cabin and Doors:

It has self-opening doors that work on sensors. Advanced features and technology can be clearly seen inside the cabin. Silver-coloured control buttons and a rotating wheel are provided on the central console.

Black interiors matching the body colour and a stylish steering wheel make it even more special. The steering wheel of this two-seater car is its biggest attraction. The company says that more than 600 components have been used in this wheel inspired by watchmaking technology.

Bugatti Tourbillon Price:
