BYD Achieves Huge Jump of 337% in Sales, Crossed Production Mark of 70 Lakh Cars

BYD stated on March 25 that it had released its 7 millionth electric vehicle. This was the Denza N7, the 7 millionth car, available only in the global market. BYD produced 1 million EVs in May 2021, then tripled that total within 18 months.

In only 9 months, the company has produced over 5 million items. BYD will produce its 7 millionth electric vehicle over the next 7 months.

Huge Jump of 337% in Sales

In 2023, BYD’s total annual sales of electric vehicles are expected to reach 3.02 million units, cementing the brand’s position as one of the leading manufacturers. BYD is steadily increasing its global market.

BYD’s new passenger car sales abroad are surging, surpassing 240,000 units. This represents a 337 percent increase year on year. BYD is launching new passenger cars in 64 countries, with manufacturing operations in Thailand, Brazil, Uzbekistan, and Hungary.

Three New EVs Will Launched Soon

The Chinese manufacturer BYD, which now sells more electric vehicles worldwide, is getting ready to introduce three new EVs to the Indian market. The business just introduced its eagerly anticipated BYD Seal electric vehicle in India.

The corporation may now introduce BYD Tang, Seal U, and Sea Lion, three imported electric SUVs, into the Indian market. BYD hasn’t yet released an official statement on this, though.
