Hyundai is revving up the excitement with the launch of the Hyundai Creta N Line in India on March 11, 2023. This sportier variant will join the recently facelifted Creta lineup, becoming the third N Line model from the Korean brand in the country after the i20 N Line (2021) and the Venue N Line (2022).

Spy shots of the Creta N Line have revealed tantalizing exterior and interior updates over the standard facelifted Creta. However, the N Line edition will retain the mechanical components of its sibling. While the price announcement is still some time away, here’s what you can anticipate from this athletic SUV:

Hyundai Creta N Line Exterior

Staying true to the N Line design philosophy, the Creta N Line will adopt a bold and dynamic aesthetic. The front fascia will flaunt a slimmer grille, a restyled bumper, and larger air intakes, while the sides will feature N Line-specific red accents, side skirts with N Line branding, and upsized 18-inch wheels (compared to the 16- and 17-inch wheels available in the regular version).

At the rear, the Creta N Line will showcase a reworked bumper, dual-tip exhaust pipes, and a roof-mounted spoiler. Additionally, two new colour options – Blue and Matte Grey – were spotted on the test mules last month, adding to the excitement.

Hyundai Creta N Line Interior

Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by an all-black interior with sporty N Line touches. Expect subtle red accents adorning the dashboard, a three-spoke steering wheel, a gearshift lever, metal pads, and leather upholstery.

The Creta N Line will retain the same impressive feature set as the facelifted Creta, including 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and digital driver displays with in-built navigation. Other amenities will likely include ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

Hyundai Creta N Line Engine and Suspension

Under the hood, the Hyundai Creta N Line will draw power from the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine found in the facelifted Creta. This potent powerplant churns out an impressive 158 bhp and 253 Nm of peak torque. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT.

Additionally, the suspension setup could receive the special N Line treatment, ensuring a sportier and more dynamic driving experience.

Hyundai Creta N Line Price and Availability

The Hyundai Creta N Line will go on sale alongside the standard Creta, which currently falls between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the Creta N Line are expected to commence by the end of February.

While the exact pricing is yet to be revealed, the sportier SUV is anticipated to command a premium over the regular version, reflecting its athletic persona and enhanced performance capabilities.

Creta EV: Hyundai’s Electrified Future

Hyundai’s commitment to sustainable mobility is evident with the upcoming Creta EV, which is likely to arrive soon. This mass-market electric vehicle (EV) is expected to be powered by a 55 to 60 kWh battery pack, delivering an impressive range of approximately 550 kilometres on a single charge. Spy shots have revealed new alloy wheels and other tantalizing details, further fueling the excitement surrounding Hyundai’s electrified future.

With the Creta N Line and the impending Creta EV, Hyundai is poised to captivate automotive enthusiasts across India with its dynamic offerings. Stay tuned for more updates and insights as these thrilling models make their way to the market.
