Haryana Police Mobile Allowance: Keeping in mind the convenience of the state’s police personnel, the Haryana government has taken an important decision by accepting one of their major demands.

Under this decision, the government has started a scheme to give mobile phone recharge allowance every month to all the police personnel of the state. The Finance Department has recently approved this proposal, due to which this scheme will be implemented from the month of July. More than 50,000 police personnel of the state will get its benefit.

Amount and details of Allowance

According to the letter issued by the Home Secretary of Haryana, police personnel of different ranks will be given allowance for mobile recharge in different amounts. In this way, the constable and head constable will be given Rs 200 per month, the Assistant Sub-Inspector will get Rs 250, the Sub-Inspector will get Rs 300 and the Inspector will get Rs 400. This allowance will be payable from March 1, the payment of which will start in July.

Announcement of Recharge Allowance

Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal announced this allowance in Panchkula during a program organized against drug abuse and illegal trafficking in June last year. In this announcement, he also announced a guest hospitality allowance of Rs 3000 per month for the clerks posted in police stations, although it has not been implemented yet.

Support from Finance Department

With the active participation of the current Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and the cooperation of the Finance Department, the process of making this allowance a reality has accelerated. The Home Department has written a letter to the Director General of Police and directed him to implement this allowance on time. This is expected to improve the quality of work of police personnel along with financial assistance.
